The route of our Essaouira quad tours
Our quad tours depart from our base near Essaouira's medina. After the safety briefing and equipment check (helmet, goggles if needed), you head toward the beach. The first stretch follows the Atlantic shoreline: compact sand, salty spray, and uninterrupted views of the city ramparts rising behind you. Depending on the tide, your guide will adapt the route — at low tide, the beach extends for kilometres and offers ideal terrain for quad riding. Next, you climb the coastal dunes that separate the beach from the hinterland. Shaped by Essaouira's constant trade winds, these dunes deliver thrilling ascents and descents without the crushing heat of the interior desert. The third segment takes you into the thuya forest (or argan grove depending on the season), where shaded trails contrast sharply with the open exposure of the beach. Some tours include a stop in a Berber village or a visit to an argan cooperative, where you can watch the traditional production of argan oil by hand. Throughout the ride, your guide sets a pace suited to the group, pauses at scenic viewpoints, and shares local stories about the landscape, wildlife, and traditions of the Essaouira region.

Helmets are mandatory, insurance is included, and hotel pickup from the medina and city centre is part of the service.
